Slovenia's rail network is operated by Slovenske Zeleznice. Slovenia has extensive domestic services and international routes connecting Slovenia with Salzburg, Vienna, Budapest, Milan, Trieste, Venice, Rijeka and Zagreb.
Bus
Slovenia has a good bus network comprising dozens of independent bus companies. The bus offers frequent departures to destinations throughout the country and is often the only way to get to many popular destinations.
